Quentin is a former film and television stuntman turned businessman. His educational background is in Computer Sciences and Modern Political History. He built and owns an IT business that has reached the point where it runs itself, giving him the time and flexibility to serve the residents of Norfolk County.
The county must remember that it serves the residents. The guiding question should be: how can we get your issue resolved or approved to your satisfaction?
Past councils have overspent. Quentin intends to look for savings and trim the fat before asking residents to pay more in taxes.
Norfolk County residents should not be unfairly burdened with high water and wastewater fees. Expansion costs for new residential construction should not fall on current residents.
There is a clear mandate from the provincial and federal governments to make municipal processes more efficient. Norfolk County should act on that and reduce unnecessary delays.
Councillors and the mayor must be aware of current issues. Waiting to see how others vote before taking a stance is not democratic. Quentin will make his position known once he is properly read in on an issue.
Let's clean up Simcoe and make it as vibrant and beautiful as it used to be. Businesses are the life blood of our town. Let's attract more!
